This wikiHow teaches you how to set up a Microsoft Word document so it prints like a booklet. The easiest way to do this is to format a document using the "Book fold" layout, but you can also select and modify a pre-existing template. Open a Word document. Click on the Print Layout tab. Open Microsoft Word. You'll usually find this app in the Start menu PC or in the Applications folder Mac , indicated by a blue icon with a white "W" in it. If you don't want to customize your own booklet, you can start with one of the booklet templates built into Word.
To do this, click the File menu, select New , type booklet into the search bar, press Enter , select a booklet template, and then click the Create button to set up your template. Click the Layout tab. This will pull up different options for formatting how the pages in your Word document will be displayed when you print them.
Click on the Multiple pages drop-down arrow. This appears in the bottom-right corner of the Page Setup dialog box under the Layout tab. Select Book fold from the Pages menu.
This changes the layout to landscape wide mode with a split down the middle. Select the number of pages for your booklet. The page options appear in the "Sheets per booklet" menu.

I am using the same thing, but the formatting changes and so does the font when I copy and paste it in Mac version on Microsoft Word.

Choose the option Flip pages on short edge to avoid printing the second side of each sheet upside down. Tip: For a professional touch, consider adding page numbers in the header or the footer. Get Microsoft publishing templates. Change the setting for Multiple pages to Book fold. To reserve space on the inside fold for binding, increase the width of the Gutter. For example, to add borders to every page, on the Layout tab of the Custom Margins window, select Borders. Keep in mind that the final size of the booklet is one half of the paper size.
Make sure your printer is stocked with paper of the right size. If your printer supports automatic printing on both sides, follow these steps. Note: If your printer doesn't support automatic printing on both sides, you'll need to print each page manually.
